Hybrid Lash Extensions

What are Hybrid Lash extensions?

Hybrid lash extensions extend the length of the natural lash, whilst adding curve, adding thickness and an overall fuller look with a combination of applying a single or multiple lashes on to your natural lash.

Hybrid lashes come in a range of lengths, curls and weights so your lash artist can create customisable looks that are tailored to your unique eye shape. You can choose to have Textured Hybrid Lash Extensions, Spiky Hybrid Lash Extensions, Wet Angular Hybrid Lash Extensions or
Wispy Hybrid Lash Extensions. You’ll have a consultation to determine what bespoke looks they can create for you and once your treatment begins, you can relax whilst your lash artist transforms your lashes.

The benefits:

It’s the solution for low-maintenance lashes and for those who are in a rush to get ready in the mornings, but want longer and thicker lashes that a lash lift treatment can't provide but have more volume than Classic lash extensions.

No two treatments are the same, as the technician will tailor the look to exactly how you want it, taking length, thickness and shape into consideration. With results lasting up to 8 weeks, and leaving you with a flawless ‘woke-up-like-this’ look

Lash techniques:

There are differences in how fan lashes are made, At Oh Hello You Beauty we use Hand Made fans which are made during the treatment to give the bespoke look and pre-made, which are bought already made and are used to give a denser look.

What brands of lash extensions do Oh Hello You Beauty use?

At Oh Hello You Beauty we use London Lash and Nouveau lashes for our Lash extensions. If you have a preference then please let your lash artist know at your appointment.

Hybrid styles:

The Classic Hybrid look:

The Classic hybrid look adds more volume and length to your lash look by using a combination of hand made fans and single lash extensions on your natural lashes. The classic Hybrid style creates a fuller lash look while maintaining  a some-what natural look/soft dramatic look.

The Textured Hybrid look:

The Textured hybrid look adds a lot of volume to your lash look by adding texture by dividing your lash rows into 3 and by using a combination of hand made fans and single lash extensions on your natural lashes, applying a 1mm to 2mm longer length than your natural lashes to the bottom row, then 1mm to 2mm longer than the bottom row to the middle row and 1mm to 2mm longer than the middle row to the top row.

The Spiky Hybrid look:

The overall Spiky lash look is dramatic, full with well defined spikes equally spaced. The extensions are a mixture of pre-made fans and individual lashes, divided into 2 rows where the bottom row are generally 1 to 2mm longer than your natural lashes and the top row of lash extensions are 1-2mm longer than the bottom row. 8 to 14 equal spaced thick lash extensions are added to the top row to create the spikes, these spikes are a stronger curl and 2 to 3mm longer than the top layer of the lash extensions.

Prior to the treatment:

If you normally wear contact lenses please wear glasses to your appointment.

Please arrive at your appointment makeup-free on and around the eye area.

Refrain from having a spray tan 48 hours before your treatment.

Hybrid lash extensions procedure:

The room will be sanitized before you arrive. When you arrive, we will go through the procedure, the desired outcome and health and safety which would have been discussed with you beforehand. You can ask as many questions as you wish before the treatment takes place. Age identification will be checked and before photos will be taken.

You will be asked to clean your eyes with a make up wipe provided to you and then you will lay down on the bed and the lash artist will then cleanse the eye area again. Individual eyelash extensions are a closed eye treatment, so you'll need to close your eyes fully whilst your lash artist works from behind your head. They will apply all of the appropriate protective wear including tape or lash pads to separate your lower lashes and protect your undereye from the tweezers which are used to separate each lash. Hybrid lashes are known for adding anywhere from a naturally enhanced look to a more dramatic and creation-of-art look. Whatever your preference on style is, we will deliver. The style you choose will determine the length of time the treatment takes, which can be anywhere between 90 minutes to 4 hours. Once all the lashes are applied and fixer solution will be added to help maintain the adhesive used during your lash treatment. You can sit up and see your beautiful extended lashes. An after photo will be taken and all aftercare advice will be reiterated to you. Please ask any questions you have.
